Diss station is located on the former Eastern Union Railway Haughley Junction to Norwich line which opened in 1849. It later became part of the Great Eastern Railway. It is the only surviving intermediate station on the Great Eastern Main Line between Stowmarket and Norwich. Following privatisation Diss was operated by the much liked Anglia Railways. It is now part of the National Express East Anglia network. CRS code: DIS
